Trying to make a big decision and loving using Notion to organize all the info about my options.

Also true of Apple in 2018 at least. Aim high: you are almost certainly idealizing how good people at these companies are and underselling yourself at the same time. I know I did.

Yes! I think this means that TypeScript can add the feature now.

Weโ€™re on to season two of Avatar: The Last Airbender! One thing we keep noticing is how strikingly good these characters are at boundaries and not managing each otherโ€™s emotions.

All I ever wanted was another Thor movie directed by Taika Waititi and now my wish is coming true.

Finally starting to write some of my own custom React Hooks (mostly around contexts) and it feels really good. I really like hooks as an API.

I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender this weekend. Iโ€™m really digging it.

One thing I miss from Austin is being able to get breakfast tacos at basically any coffee shop.

I get to see a bunch of my coworkers in person next week, many for the first time. Which means it was time for a haircut! ๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ

To my coworkers: if Iโ€™m out sick tomorrow, itโ€™s because I had one Old Fashioned at 7:30pm.

That feeling when you finally fix a bug thatโ€™s been vexing you for weeks. Such relief! I should write this one up because the path to figuring it out was weird and it might interesting to others.

Any ADHD folks out there ever tried to wire up PagerDuty to your calendar? Because Iโ€™m strongly considering it.

Upgraded a project to Next.js 9, which is great! But Iโ€™m blocked on adopting API routes because now the server code is running through Babel which is taking issue with some things. Hopefully I can figure it out, it would be nice to unify things this way.

Of course our refrigerator broke on a holiday. Really hoping we can get someone out here today to fix it.

We just finished Neon Genesis Evangelion and Iโ€™ve screamed aloud multiple times over this ending.

I had a dream that Stripe had an internal instance of Archive of Our Own and my coworkers posted their fanfics there. Iโ€™m kinda sad itโ€™s not real.
